Data Collection & Analysis

Our team combines data analysis and behavioural insights with cartography, GIS and graphic design to create bespoke data driven visualisations designed to effectively identify solutions alongside problems within transport.

Understanding the relevance and likely effectiveness of a new transport policy, scheme or change in service requires both qualitative and quantitative evidence. This involves gathering new data and the analysis of existing information.

Feasibility studies

TED's team offers many decades of experience working with both public and private sector clients to determine the operational and financial feasibility of both turn-key and expansion of commuter and intercity passenger rail service.

The feasibility studies are carried out to ascertain the viability of the project. The studies are based on the extensive traffic surveys, transport model development, projections of travel demand and various sensitivity analysis. The economic and financial appraisals are undertaken to justify the value of money that would be required to be invested in construction, operation and maintenance of the project.
